Soaring high into 2017

I-Systems Group of Colleges anticipates an exciting year in 2017. As one of the state’s largest education group especially in the technical and skill-based education, the group aspires to soar high and welcome the young and eager talents mind alike. I-Systems Group of Colleges also offers academic courses at the diploma level.

“The start of 2017 is an exciting time of year as we welcome back students who are continuing on with their certificates and diplomas,” said Adrian Hon, the Principal of I-Systems College. “We are expecting a fruitful number of new enrollments soon as the SPM results will be released in the middle of the month” he added.

To date, I-Systems group has been established for 10 years and developed into corporate group comprises of 4 colleges and 4 training centers offering different programmes of tertiary level. Aspiring to educate the people, the group has embarked on offering short courses to the various industries and workforce as part of the upskilling program for career enhancement.

“I-Systems Group of Colleges offer Occupational Safety & Health, Nursing, Medical Assistant, Medical Laboratory Technology & Environmental Health programmes,” said Hon again.“This year we will also be seeing a multitude of admission especially from the adult market to join our short courses as a continual knowledge and skills acquisition,” Hon’s added – currently, I-Systems Group of Colleges has been elevated to become one of the approved PSMB training providers to offer HRDF compatible courses.

The group has undergone a rapid and stable development since its establishment in 2006. With a dedicated team of more than 100 academics and administrators, the group aspires to provide quality education at an affordable price to the people of Sarawak and its neighboring region.

“We are now looking into offering more high-impact programmes in the diploma level as a progression pathway for our technical graduates who wish to continue on with their study. Currently, we are in the process of acquiring the approval from the ministry to offer diploma in; Automotive Technology, Electrical Technology, Drafting Technology, Welding Technology and also Office Management Technology,” add Hon again.

In the effort to maintain the quality of its programmes, the group also collaborating with other professional bodies in the industry. Recently, the group has successfully become an Autodesk training center that is able to offer AutoCAD courses and certification examination. This measure provides a more secure pathway to the trainees, especially those who are enrolled in civil and structural engineering draughtsman programme. Apart from that, the group is also certified by TWI Certification Ltd – a world’s foremost independent research and technology organizations with expertise in materials joining and engineering processes as applied in industry – to offer welding technology programmes since 2015.

With the experience accompanied with its management quality in both academic and operational, I-Systems Group of Colleges aspires to be the industry leaders championing the holistic tertiary education in Sarawak – putting it on the right track to soar higher in the years to come.
